Ex Machina & Partners zoeken webdesigner/ontwerper

Als webdeveloper ben je voornamelijk bezig met het ontwikkelen en verder ontwikkelen van websites rondom de games en communities die wij voor onze klanten ontwikkelen en beheren. Daarnaast maak je websites en (online) campagnes, catalogi en brochures voor onszelf, enkele klanten en bedrijven uit ons netwerk. Dit zijn onder andere Red Chocolate en Amazing Wheels. Je werkt hierbij vaak samen met marketeers, copywriters en programmeurs. Voor grotere projecten werk je samen met verschillende bureaus.

Jouw kracht is mooie en functionele ontwerpen bedenken, maken en qua frontend programmeren. De afwisseling van werkzaamheden en de dynamiek binnen de bedrijven waarvoor je werkt maken de baan inspirerend en afwisselend. Met een grafische achtergrond heb je daarnaast ruime ervaring met Flash, HTML, XML, Javascript, CSS en Photoshop. Indesign en Illustrator zijn een pré. Je werkt vanuit ons kantoor in Amsterdam en soms op locatie bij klanten en partners in de omgeving Amsterdam. Uiteraard bieden we concurrerende arbeidsvoorwaarden. Wanted: Experienced Java Developer

To enhance our development team, Ex Machina is looking for a creative, experienced Java developer, with in-depth J2ME, SE and EE-knowledge. A careful, reliable programmer who knows about mobile phones, web applications and servers. We'd like you to have a feel for user interfaces, with a thorough understanding of how to turn your code into a networked whole.

You'll be working on cutting edge mobile and cross-media projects, based on Ex Machina's powerful Deus 4.0 multiplayer platform.

Please apply if you:

• Are fluent in Dutch and English;
• Have a BSc or MSc degree in computer science or a related subject;
• Know the score on J2ME, SE and EE;
• Have at least a few years of relevant programming experience;
• Have a feel for user interfaces;
• Have working experience in creating Java applications for entertainment purposes, ideally for both web and mobile devices;
• Are willing to work in Amsterdam;
• Are available soon.

Furthermore, knowledge about C++/BREW/Symbian is a big bonus.
